Rechargeable battery for AirBedz Original Truck Bed Air Mattress (100, 400, 500 series). Keep an extra battery pack charged and ready to go for use in your AirBedz mattress as a back up for those times when a power source is not available.

Battery Info and required maintenance:
Please remove and throw away the red/orange safety tab – This tab is for shipping purposes only. (It may or may not come with one)
Once you receive your new battery it needs to be charged immediately for 10-12 hours.
Going forward Charge battery 10-12 hours If using home AC charger (no more/no less)
Charge battery 2 hours max if using Car DC charger. (Must be Pittman DC charger that can be purchased on our website. Part# PPI-AC4)
Never use any other cord to charge your battery. Charger cord replacements are available by calling our office. (PPI-AC Cord)
Charge the battery whether you are using the bed or not every 4-6 months to maintain the life of the battery.
If battery has sat without a charge more than a year you may need to replace it.

Fantastic job, only reason for not 5 stars is I wish there was more detailed information on best charging practices. There is info on initial charging, but I cannot find info about recharging. How long? How can you tell? Should one discharge completely then follow initial charge instructions?
